ORU MEXICAN APARATHA.!

AN AGE OLD, WELL  COMMERCIALISED  RAGE

Prologue

First things first , the marketing and promotion team of OMA was on an  at most full fledged pace as you can see the trailers,songs--hype which was created due to this (obviously) was at the top level . Every viewer has set their bar of expectation at a high notch. [A knot of appreciation to the team I mentioned above] . Apart from all these, the lead actor and the support lead of the movie was quite active in  facebook too. [They too badly need something good in the BO ( Natural intention)]
And now what the cast and crew has to deliver is something exciting, dramatic,a real incident (that's the trend now a days )--in brief something which is commercial , something which sells .

Experience

DRAMATIC all the way.!

Casting has been picture perfect in the case of leads and OMA will be a sure break for ''Tovino" and  "Neeraj". The storyline is something which is gripping as it shows the age old  conflicts between two prominent campus political parties . Well, 1st half turns out to be a cat and mouse game between  who overpowers whom [ If you have been in campus politics then you can see your shadows running around the campus]. But at some point of time into the story you find somewhere something is lagging in the script [ OHH..then somebody says ..you must give sufficient time for the director to establish his characters onto the minds of the viewers..well maybe ..PERCEPTION DIFFERS].
And there comes the much anticipated interval punch that holds the viewers right on their pulse.

Much into the second half  I thought something was missing here . The viewers were unaware of the fact that at which time period is the story happening--neither the director mentioned it , nor the viewers recognized it (IMO.!) [ This was also a well versed debatable topic in the MANIRATNAM movie RAAVAN ] .

And the movie makes a special mentioning of KANNUR  which makes every bit of communism in you (if you are .?)  to uprise a fair bit of goosebumps. ! [  Every people who was born and brought up in kannur can quite emotionally relate to this intense feeling if I am not wrong.!]. Thus every such elements in the movie was contributing towards something which can be called as a "right build up" to the climax . And with the right amount of visual commanding and a significant addition of mandatory goosebumps ..and that gives a DRAMATIC end to the movie . Apparently the director of the movie deserves much credit on the way he has depicted the climax--One of the means by which a
commercial ending is made ( I think so)

Epilogue

No doubt , this is gonna be a success in terms of collection . Renaming the parties which is shown in the movie hasn't made a significant impact as you can see variable amount of conflicts happening off screen. As I read from somewhere real story was some what different from how it is portrayed in the movie [ Again credit goes to the director , A movie which is made on a SFI or communist point of view sells here in KERALA ,again apt ingredient of commercialism added ] . In overall OMA tends to make a good impact on viewers confronting it a fair watch without much boredom .

My call [STRICTLY PERSONAL]

A movie which contains a certain amount of enigmatic moments which satisfies a larger portion of viewers.
A  movie which offers a nostalgic feeling to invoke campus politics in you  ( If you are one of them).
A  movie which is some what engaging and keeps up the pace in overall
[Well  that's  the positives .! ]
And indeed a DRAMATIC one..!!!
