THE PLATFORM

There are certain films which will blow your mind, well Platform can be termed as one of its kind movie considering the concept introduced in this film. The platform revolves around a vertical jail management system where prisoners are locked up in subsequent floors numbered accordingly. Every day a table full of food to transported from top to bottom and whole storyline is pretty much confined around this food chain. Apparently, the whole film portrays some of the existing relevant political scenarios in an effective manner.

There is a dark element to this storyline as whole setup of this film is intriguing to such an extent and you are nearly not foreseeing any of the scenes, thus avoiding the cliches. There are certain elements of capitalism in this movie, where the whole system is managed by people at the top and their leftovers are sent to the bottom and from now on it is up to them to survive on these limited resources. Cinematography and editing are top-notch and there is some sort of suspense element in every frame, which makes the platform one of the most interesting films to watch in recent times.

The open ending seems to be the new black in every upcoming movie, but here climax is certainly halted on a question mark, but this ending adds different dimensions to it. The Platform is definitely an enthralling experience that should not be missed at any cost.
