21 Grams

So I got a chance to see 21 grams recently only when it released through OTT. 21 grams is an investigative thriller which has a formulaic start, apparently evolving into a great piece of film which overrides most of its predictable elements with some good writing towards the back end. Anoop Menon playing the lead role after a long time has given a matured performance which he could proudly say as one of his best. Malayalam film industry has seen quite a few thrillers lately and only a few has striked the right chord with the viewers. The main drawback which I felt in the most of the former movies was the lack of a strong conclusion.

Second half of 21 grams unviels each elements in a gripping manner. Yes, there are predictable scenes here and there in the movie, but the crew made sure that the final punch was on target. 21 grams has one of the finest ending among the recent thriller movies which we have seen. It was really special from the team to cast Anoop Menon as the lead actor and at the same time to release this film in big screens. Both these decisions has rightfully stamped the fact that good Malayalam films can never go in wane regardless of other factors.

21 grams is such an intriguing watch which will top the list of the recent thrillers which Malayalam Industry hosted.
