Jo and Jo surely has to be one of the suprise hits in 2022. It came with a below average promotional campaign and also had not so promising cast. Nevertheless, film had a great run in big screens with a young cast performing to their full potential. It reminded us of the great lock down days and most of the activities which we have gone through at that period of time.

Following the lines of thanneermathan dinangal and Super Saranya, Jo and Jo was packed up with back to back interesting scenes which made the film going. The combination scenes between Nikhila and Mathew may seem a little artificial at the beginning, but as the film moves on we could see them performing out of their skins. We have seen a lot of Naslen's performances and over here he single handedly carries most of the humour sequences.

Basically there are neither illogical scenes in the movie nor there are boring sequences. Lack of a solid story line is often covered by situational gimmicks and hilarious performances by the lead cast. Films like Jo and Jo expands the market of Malayalam film industry. Apart from usual suspense thrillers and feel good movies, audiences has also got a certain liking towards these kind of movies which encourages a lot of filmmakers to come up with Jo and Jo kind of movies which serves to a section of film goers.

Having said all this, Jo and Jo is your family entertainer which mostly resembles your sorroundings and brings back a reminiscence of the great pandemic days which is really fun to watch.
