HRIDAYAM
Hridayam is one of the most anticipated film in Malayalam film industry post the release of 'Marakkar' and 'Minnal Murali'. Vineeth Sreenivasan teams up with Pranav Mohanlal for the first time to deliver something which can be called as a breakthrough in the filming career of Pranav. Vineeth Sreenivasan is that director who has an emotional connect with his audience, be it in his first film Malarvadi or in his latest outing Hridayam, he never fails to build a rapport with us.
Hridayam is an out and out entertainer. Barring the first fifteen minutes, where the film was too fast to hit the floor and avoiding some lagging portions in the second half, this is one of the greatest theatrical experience of recent times. Comprising of fifteen songs which goes in with the flow of the movie and every song is placed well, which you often see now in Malayalam films now a days. There is a freshness in each frame of the first half and you could miss your good old engineering days if you are one !
The technical department of the film is so sound. Special mention to Hesham, whose songs are the secret charm of this movie. The veteran Ranjan Abraham, who has edited numerous hit films in Malayalam, makes a notable comeback here and he has to be one of the most underrated editor in Malayalam film Industry.
Darsana performing out of her comfort zone and Kalyani performing within her comfort zone has added wings to hridayam. Pranav with his screen presence and amazing dialogue delivery has found his rythm and he is the real crowd puller over here.
There are only a few directors who evolves with each film, they try to keep their benchmark high with each of their upcoming movies and Vineeth Sreenivasan is one of them.
Grab your tickets with your family and friends, because hridayam is too good to be missed out in big screens!
