Bheeshma Parvam

With the help of a star studded cast -teaming up with Mammootty after his break through initial film BigB - Bheeshma Parvam is such an electric theatric watch which you doesn't want to miss in theatres at any cost. The film is technically brilliant as every Amal Neerad film is and not to mention his cinematography and stunning frames which has become a norm for him since his debut.

I found the first half of the film pretty engaging even though the second half is where the intriguing scenes are. The whole character setting and the small mannerisms which every actor brings into the table is closely captured in the first half. The X factor of this film is really the mega star. What could have been a normal family rivalry story turned out to be an elevated version of it, and Mammootty as 'Michael' easily qualifies as one of his charismatic performance over the years.

There was a time when Bgm's was a talking point in the town when Rajamani used to score BGM. Now people have started realizing the hardships behind departments such as Bgm's and editing which polishes the final product. Sushin Shyam gives us a versatile version of himself, be it in songs or BGM's, which is really a treat to watch. The casting is one department which Amal Neerad rarely goes off colour. Every single character had a specific role to play and how every characters evolved through out the film has lifted the film as a whole.

So, you get what you expect from an Amal Neerad film, nothing less but something more. Personally, I left the ending lacked that essential punch, but when you look at it in a nutshell, you would be pretty satisfied when you leave the theatres.
