TENET

Its been quite a delayed watch for me considering the time I have watched this film and the time which it was actually aired. Being a Nolan fan, I still find it very difficult to understand the story line of Tenet, even though the screenplay is gripping. Nolan's films are hugely known for its visual treat which doesn't make a second turn here as this one is up there as one of the best Nolan films which has been showcased stunningly. As the makers convince the viewers to immerse in the experience rather than understanding, I find it illogical to be in a state where you see a time related sci-fi thriller and you don't understand a part of it.

Tenet follows the pattern of inception and interstellar where you are treated with multiple timelines along with a non-linear making. There is a limit to which a normal audience could hold a complex theme or even a Nolan audience in fact could manage this sort of complexity overloaded stuffs. Tenet deals with reverse entropy and you are in for a roller coaster ride when the above term takes off in the movie. Editing, VFX and cinematography has be mentioned in golden quotes as this movie is still a brilliant theatrical experience barring the dilemma in storyline.

I was greatly amused by his previous work 'Dunkirk', since it was treated differently deviating from his usual pattern of film-making. Apparently Dunkirk was termed as one of the weak Nolan movies. Nolan with his enigmatic brilliance in preparing a screenplay must come up with something normal audience can digest to. Or else it may end up like 'Tenet', which was not able to produce much fuzz even with its great technical team and some intriguing screenplay.

Time to move on and its time to break the complexity !
