COLD CASE

Cold case seems to be a promising film at the start but turns out to be a rather cold affair when it finishes. Having seen so many films in the same genre, there is a lack of substance in the story line. Prithviraj doing a character which he did complete justice to, but another lead role handled by Aditi Balan disappoints to the core. Apart from the above defects, film stands out in its technical department and is a great visual treat to anyone who watches it. 

Story revolves around the discovery of a skull and trailing it to find the victim. Addition of supernatural elements to the story has made the intrigue level of the film to rise up. When you see a film like this you expect something satisfactory at the end which justifies the whole build up which the movie portrays. But the lack of a quality ending backfires big time and it end out to be an average watch. Apparently, logically looking through the film through out it its runtime by the protagonist, some bit of extra suspense element would have acted as a savior for the film.

In overall, Cold case is a great one time watch which really creates a sparkle but doesn't last enough to be an ignition.
